ADVISE.EDUCATE.ADVOCATE.
Wisconsin Counties Solid Waste Management Association (WCSWMA) focuses on advising, educating, and advocating Wisconsin counties on state solid waste, recycling, and resource recovery policies and programs. We foster harmonious relations and provide a platform for idea exchange among members, public officials, the public, and other solid waste management and resource recovery entities.
Into The Outdoors
In collaboration with AROW and SWANA-WI Badger Chapter, we are excited to bring you a new edition of the award-winning educational series, "Into The Outdoors." "Becoming Stewards: Uncovering the Solid Waste Story," raises awareness of the solid waste industry within Wisconsin.
Solid Waste & Recycling Learning Center (online)
We partner with AROW, SWANA-WI Badger Chapter, and Recycling Connections to offer online trainings for integrated resource management professionals. Solid Waste & Recycling 101 in Wisconsin, launched in June 2024, was designed for those who are new to the industry to provide common language and foundational industry knowledge while highlighting the laws and regulations for managing waste in Wisconsin.
